Artist's Statement

I Paint...

I paint then I learn more and then I paint. Then it's learning and then it's painting.

This is a journey with no end but with continuous beginnings. There are so many incredible artists to learn from through their books and/or through workshops.

The people in this endeavor are continuously amazing. Everyone is in the same boat – learning, painting, learning. A big ego can be humbled in an instant and (most) everyone knows it. Therefore, the people along the way are a joyous group of friends and acquaintances. All experiencing the agony and the ecstasy of the process.

This is a subjective "business." I can only hope that the paintings I do touch me at an emotional level and at least some of them reach the viewer at that level as well.
